What feelings come up when you think about your health and eating habits?
Most of us strive to be healthier, but we often don’t think of the reason.
Why do you want to make a change to your health? Is it for looks? Maybe you want to fit into that bathing suit by summer. Is it for more energy? Maybe you want to be able to get through your to-do list faster. Is it out of necessity? Perhaps someone that you love has asked you to make a change. Perhaps that someone is you.
Taking care of yourself is the best way to show self-love. This includes taking care of your body by feeding it good food, drinking lots of water and exercising. The main reason we take care of others is because we love them. So that should be our main motivation for taking care of ourselves as well.
So, whatever your health goals are, make sure it’s coming from a place of love. This simple idea can cause a shift in your thinking, so you will want to make healthy choices.
Eat an apple or salad not because you HAVE to but because you WANT to. You want to take care of this wonderful body that carries you through life.
You can’t take care of others without first taking care of yourself. The best way to help someone else achieve their health goals is to lead by your glowing example and let it overflow to others around you.
